The meaning of my name!

You know, browsing on google, you can find many things, and i became intrigued to find out what my first name actually means. So here it is, after a long search, i found some means, see if you agree ;): (and this is with regards to the sikh punjabi understanding).

Par = Supreme or penultimate or greatest of the great;
v = V stands for Vaheguru (which is punjabi is the 'great teacher' in relation to God)
inder = Inder is one of the many names for God (Indra).

Parvinder means Supreme God, (Supreme Indra). Or God of Gods. With Kaur then it's Supreme Godly Princess.

We learn something new every day ;)

I'm not so sure, babes.

Parvindra a sandhi (combination) of parv+indra

Parv: festival/occasion
Indra: supreme, best

So, Parvindra is the supreme occasion. In Punjabi, indra is modified to inder. So, Parvinder.

So, much confusion. Dont you think Pav's better :)
